Michael Schall Johnson
Born Michael (Mickey) William Schall in Los Angeles Feb. 12, 1943 and grew up, off and on, within 5 miles
of where he was born and always a proud Angeleno and Californian. Michael has had an extensive
background in painting and sculpturing for many years. He has always been a student of art.










He studied a short time at the Colorado Institute of Art. Specializing in watercolor, and pen and ink, and
recently oils.  Michael enjoys working with his hands, and works with many varied mediums. "Best of Show"
have been some of his accomplishments.









He has artwork's in a number of Museums in the west and spent a short time at the L.A. County Museum of
Natural History as a curator.  He was art editor for Newsreel Magazine.  Michael owned and operated a
taxidermy shop in Wyoming and in order to support his hobbies he had a "real" job working for several
different phone companies before retiring and now he devotes his time between several loves of his life.
Michael loves to stay busy.  













When he isn't painting, or playing choo choo, you can find him working and showing his "classic car".
Currently he has a couple of 1962 Oldsmobile's and a 65 Chevelle L78. Loves to tinker with those old cars.




















Michael is married to the love of his life Madeline, four children and nine grandchildren.  Lives in
Northeastern Nevada high desert.
