Grandma said "your Mom sent you a dime for your birthday
Mickey".
"Wow!" said Mickey, his Mom had remembered him, he
was very excited "to spend it on what ever I wan?"

"You sure can" said Grandma "We'll go down to the 5 and
10 cent store in Caldwell and you can buy whatever you
want.  "I want a cap pistol" said Mickey.
So they walked downtown to Woolworth's.  The dime
wouldn't buy a cap pistol, but after Grandma put another
nickel with it, Mickey was able to purchase a good looking
click gun with a holster.  It replaced his tree limb pistol in
fine fashion.

Mickey was able to ride his tree limb stick horse, his name
was Big Fella (that's what the Lone Ranger called is horse
Silver) while singing "Back in the Saddle Again" and
yodeling other western movie songs, while picking off bad
guys wiht his shooting iron.

It was a birthday he never forgot such a long time ago, he
was a very happy 6 year old.
